About Us
15 years ago, we stumbled upon a beautiful independent champagne house in the heart of Chigny-les-Roses, a small historic town nestled on the slopes of Montagne de Reims, France.
The Jean Dumangin Champagne House is home to a family-run business currently representing the fifth generation of wine-making and, since discovering this curious haven, we have been unable to resist returning for more.

More about Jean Dumangin Champange
The Vineyards
Since their first bottle poured in 1895, the Dumangin vineyards have now expanded to cover 8.5 hectacres. This helps achieve a subtle balance in their blends, making it possible to give a specific style to each Cuvée thanks to a smart choice of wines from different plots. Annually, the Dumangin Champagne House produces around 60,000 bottles, which are then stored in their 4-level underground cellar to reach optimum maturity.
Modern & Traditional Fusion
In their constant quest for perfection, the Jean Dumangin family combine techniques that have been passed down the generations with modern technology. They pride themselves in only investing in new technology if it benefits the quality of their products.
Environmentally Friendly
The Jean Dumangin Champagne House cultivates its vineyards using sustainable methods, keeping the use of plant-care products to a minimum and paying the closest attention to working the soil. Weed killing is carried out by hand and the greatest care is taken with sorting the grapes when harvesting, which is only carried out when the crop is absolutely ripe. In April 2016, they obtained their High Environmental Value certification.
